Shri Prabhat Kumar Ghosh is a senior administrator and thinker with a distinguished career in the Indian Administrative Service. A postgraduate in Philosophy, he began his career as a lecturer before joining the IAS, where he rose to become Additional Chief Secretary of Gujarat.
Over several decades, he shaped Gujarat’s policies in urban planning, environmental management, and cooperative governance. He is known for bringing intellectual depth and integrity to governance, bridging philosophical insight with practical administration.
At Chaitanya, he provides advice on governance, institutional planning, and civic engagement, helping the school remain closely connected with Gandhinagar’s civic and cultural life. Outside of professional work, he remains deeply engaged in literature, culture, philosophy, architecture, and classical music, which continue to enrich his perspective as an Advisor.
