School Etiquette

At Chaitanya, we believe discipline, respect, and responsibility are as important as academics. Our school etiquette guidelines are designed to nurture good habits, instil values, and maintain the warm, family-like atmosphere that defines our campus.

Punctuality

Students must arrive at school on time. Regularity and punctuality are essential habits for building responsibility.

Communication with Teachers

Parents are requested to share relevant updates or changes at home with class teachers, as this helps the school to better support the child.

Birthdays

We understand birthdays are special. They may be celebrated in class with small tokens such as stationery items (maximum value ₹20). No toffees or chocolates, please. Students in Nursery to Class IV may come in civil dress on their birthdays. Families are encouraged to mark birthdays by donating a book or a sapling to the school as a lasting contribution.

Electronic Devices

Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are not allowed in school or on trips without prior permission. If found, they will be confiscated and returned only at the end of the session with penalty. In exceptional cases, parents may send a signed note explaining the reason. Such devices must be submitted to the Principal’s Office before assembly.

Safety & Responsibility

Driving a vehicle without a valid licence and helmet is a punishable offence. Students are not permitted to ride two- or four-wheelers to school without a valid driving licence and helmet.

Appearance & Grooming

Boys: Proper haircut and clean-shaven at all times.
Girls: Hair neatly tied in two ponytails/plaits with plain red rubber bands. Girls with short hair must wear a plain red hairband.

Valuables

No money or valuables should be brought to school. The school will not be responsible for any loss.

Attendance

Full-day attendance is expected. Half-day leave requests will not be entertained except in cases of sudden illness.
