Infrastructure & Facilities
Every corner of the campus is designed to make learning meaningful and joyful — a place where childhood is celebrated, and the journey to responsible adulthood begins.
A Campus Designed for Every Child
At Chaitanya, infrastructure is more than buildings and classrooms — it is about creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. Spread over about 5 acres, the permanent campus combines natural surroundings with thoughtfully planned facilities that nurture both academic and personal growth.
A Campus Close to Nature
Situated amidst greenery and away from the noise and congestion of the city, the school provides a calm and nurturing atmosphere. The 2.25 acre playground and open grounds allow children to learn, play, and explore in harmony with nature. Many school activities are conducted in the open air, encouraging children to enjoy the green environs and develop a deep connection with their surroundings.
Learning Spaces
- Classrooms: 32 in total across 4 blocks, well-ventilated, spacious, and filled with natural light
- Labs: 6 dedicated laboratories — Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Composite Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science — supporting hands-on and inquiry-based learning
- Activity Rooms: Designed for group projects and creative exploration
- Digital & Online Learning: The school is Wi-Fi enabled and successfully managed online learning during COVID, ensuring continuity of education. It remains well-equipped for blended learning.
Padma Motwani Library
At the heart of the campus is the Padma Motwani Library — a learning hub with over 6,000 books, reference material, periodicals, dailies, and digital resources. The library provides a welcoming space that nurtures independent learning, reading habits, and imagination, encouraging children to discover the joy of books and ideas.

- Music & Dance Rooms: Spaces for creative expression where children explore rhythm, movement, voice, and performance
- Amphitheatre: An open-air performance and gathering space that blends with the natural setting, used for assemblies, cultural programmes, and student showcases

Sports & Open Grounds
- A large sports field and open ground for football, cricket, athletics, and outdoor activities
- Play areas with safe equipment for younger children
- The wide-open spaces are used for games, fitness, and inter-house competitions, while also providing children with the freedom to play and enjoy their childhood in a natural setting
- Many physical activities, events, and celebrations take place in the open air, reflecting the school’s emphasis on learning and growing in harmony with nature
Campus Facilities
- Infirmary: On-campus medical room for first-aid and basic health needs, with tie-ups for emergency hospital support
- Drinking Water: Purified water through multiple ROs across the campus
- Safety & Security: Secure boundary wall, CCTV coverage, water sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and dedicated guards ensure a safe campus
Transport
Safe and Reliable School Transport
The school transport service is designed to provide children with a safe, comfortable, and punctual journey every day. We recognise that the school bus is an extension of the classroom — where discipline, care, and time management remain our priority.
The transport service presently connects key residential clusters across Gandhinagar and nearby areas, including:
Evolving Routes
The school continuously reviews its transport operations. Additional stops or entirely new routes are introduced whenever there is a viable number of students in a particular area. The guiding principle is to keep all routes both time-efficient and cost-efficient, while ensuring children spend minimal time in transit.
These stops reflect the present service network and are regularly updated based on student demand.
Parent Responsibilities
- Ensure children are at the designated stop 5 minutes before pick-up
- Be present (for younger children) at drop-off points
- Notify the transport office in advance if the child will not use the bus on any given day
