The Fire Station Visit by Little
At Chaitanya we start in the Kindergarten itself “To
See; to Do; to Know; to be Aware; to Apply.”
A visit to the Fire Station in Gandhinagar on February
5th naturally had all our little ones “fired up”. We
organized a visit to the Fire Station in Sector 17,
Gandhinagar on 5th February 2014.
This trip was
planned to explore and identify, to enhance knowledge
and learning. Smartly turned out in the School’s sports
uniform, the children boarded the school vans with great
enthusiasm. The Chaitanya school banners on the school

a building for a fire or other emergency. Generally, a
fire alarm is activated and the building is evacuated as
though a real fire had occurred. The demo depicted the
different nozzles used.
We were told that 126 Bikes with fire extinguishers are
soon to be commissioned in the different wards to put
out the fire at congested places. A Road Sweeper Machine
was also displayed.
The students of
Sr. KG were taught that they should not switch on/off
any electronic gadget in case of fire and all windows
should be opened.
